Rain, Rain

Yesterday as I drove home, It started to rain, it was cloudy on the east side of me and sunny on the west side of me. As I looked back over to the east, I saw the most beautiful rainbow. The entire rainbow. It was so beautiful. My girls were so excited to see the rainbow too. I also got the opportunity to tell them the meaning of the rainbow. God's promise to us that he would never again destroy the earth with a flood. Wow! Anyways, we sang the tradition rainy day songs and it reminded me of when I was a child. I used to think that a rainbow was round and went completely around the earth, and we only saw half of it and the other side of the earth saw the other half. I would also hope that my mom would reach the end of the rainbow while driving. That never happened. What are your fondest memories of rainbows?

I remember being on vacation in California (for Disney-whichever one is there)We walked out of our hotel early in the morning to find people just standing on their balconies, we looked, and saw a DOUBLE rainbow! I am SO not kidding! It was beautiful. My parents too took this opportunity to explain the meaning of a rainbow to me.
