Our chuch started a backyard bible study at some apartments called "The Lighthouse Club". We got there sent the youth to go and invite kids to come to the pool area. We had music time, story time, arts and crafts, a game, and refreshments. It was a huge success. There were over 10 kids there. We'll be going back every Tuesday. All the kids were excited because whoever brings the most friends wins a giant candy bar. I can't wait until next week.
In the back of my mind I think to myself...as a parent I would never left my kid go off with someone they didn't know just because they said they were having a bible study. There are still naive parents out there.
