My Answer: No, I would not exchange. But I would investigate to see if the child is in a good home, if not, then I would try to get custody.

Book of Questions # 6
You discover that your wonderful one-year-old chld is, because of a mixup at the hospital, not yours. Would you want to exchange the child to try to correct the mistake?

I would NEVER give my daughter up no matter the circumstances (unless it would save her life, I just had to qualify that), but I would want to know my biological child, at least see what they look like. I also agree that if they were not in a good home I would try for custody if it didn't mean I could lose my child (that I was raising).
