Have a friend over, make some coffee and sit at your table nicely decorated with a fruit bowl. You eat chips and salsa while you play a game of dominoes. The second set is to build dominoe towers. Your child is disrespectful so you give him a taste of vinegar. Your child did not like the taste of vinegar so he/she then took an orange out of the fruit bowl and ate it.
Hi. Sorry to post here, but I thought this would be a good way to contact you. I am a friend of Sarah's. I found your comment on the John study at Amanda's blog and wanted to contact you, for we have something in common. I have also been dealing with a Jehovah's Witness. She is my cousin and we have been e-mail discussing the truths that my faith stand on. I have found that it is keeping me deeply in the word. But I am also finding that little seeds of doubt are surfacing everytime I read the Scriptures. I try to analize every word. And I am going to far and missing the point in each passage. It has been a struggle, but I love it. I love the fact that we are challanged and that we notice the challange and face it. Thanks for your time and for doing this study. I think we will have a great revelation before we are done.
I was doing a study with my 1-4 year old Mission Friends on the country of Columbia.
In Columbia, they play dominios, have fruit stands, and grow coffee. The kiddos were able to use play money for buy pretend fruit. And then enjoy an orange slice. They played with the coffee beans then I put the beans into the filters and had sashes for them to take home. The vinegar was used for an art project. They used it to paint over strips of colored tissue paper.
