Saturday, what a day. Went to a T-ball game that was cut short due to the heat. After that I took my sister and mom out to eat. My sister and I proceeded to go to her new house to feed my dogs and to give them water. Then we proceeded to go to Walmart to buy some kiddie pools. One for my house, and 2 for her house (one for the kids and the other for Loba my Siberian Huskey). I brought the van to the curb and proceeded to load up 5 pools (the sign said that they were $.99 Then we saw some chairs for $7.00, so we were going to get 8. I took the sticker of both items and proceeded inside to the garden area. I told the clerk. "5 pools and 8 chairs). The total came out to be almost $100.00.
"Whoa wait a minute.. those pools are 99 cents."
"No" the clerk replied they are $6.88. "
"The sign says 99 cents go check"
Sure enough that's what the sign said. Someone had changed the price.
"Well you have to give them to me at that price, because that's what it say"...
"No, I'm not going to give you 5 pools at 99 cents"
After much argument on her part and many calls to the manager, and many calls to my sister who was waiting outside, telling me that it's against the law. She told me not to get anything.
So I proceeded to walk out with no pools or chairs.
Then my sister ended up going to customer service to argue with the Manager (a woman), who we hear from other sources is a very unlikeable mean person. (that's saying it nicely)
So we left with no pools with one hot sweaty dog waiting at home.
Needless to say, later that day, my sister spent 2 1/2 hours going from Walmart to Walmart looking for pools and a specific table and chairs that I wanted. The Walmart on Greatsouthwest and I-20 in offically on the Stores Banned List.
