Father, help us to see what is important, what is eternal, what is lasting. Let us make decisions based on our eternal life and not on temporary possessions. Father, help us to put into practice the timeless truths found in your Word. Most of all, Father, thank you for loving us.
Proverbs 30: Vs 8 - 9 Don't make me either rich or poor; just give me enough food for each day. If I have too much, I might reject you and say, "I don't need the Lord." If I am poor, I might steal and disgrace the name of my God.
Lord, thank you for providing me with my daily bread, and blessing me with more than I deserve.
